Appliance repair can be a meticulous process, especially if you’re left to do it yourself. Once you’re on one of our repair plans, you don’t have to worry. By having a repair plan, you can avoid spending large amounts of money on labour, call-out fees, and repairs.

1. Scheduling and Initial Diagnosis #

Our repair process begins with a simple phone call or booking to schedule an appointment. We’ll assess your faulty household appliance or electronic item at your convenience. After scheduling, you will receive a confirmation email or SMS detailing the appointment date, time, location, and the name of the technician who will visit.

When the scheduled day arrives, a friendly MasterCare technician will come to your premises. Easily identifiable in a black MasterCare golf shirt and ID tag, they will arrive in a MasterCare-branded van or bakkie. The technician will conduct a thorough visual inspection and use diagnostic tools to test components and error codes, safely disassembling the appliance if necessary to pinpoint the issue.

2. Repair or Replace #

After diagnosing the problem, the technician will either repair or replace the faulty components. This may include fixing loose connections or damaged parts with new or refurbished ones. Preventive maintenance, such as cleaning, lubrication, and calibration, is also performed to avoid future issues and ensure optimal performance. If the technician cannot complete the repair on the first visit, a new appointment will be scheduled to collect and repair the appliance or electronic item. All relevant details will be discussed and agreed upon over the phone.

3. Testing and Reassembly #

Once the repairs are made, the appliance is reassembled with precision to ensure all components are properly secured and connected. Thorough testing is then conducted to verify that the appliance functions correctly. Safety checks are also performed to guarantee everything is in order.

4. Final Inspection and Customer Satisfaction #

Before completion, the technician will perform a final inspection to ensure the repair meets MasterCare’s quality standards. Throughout the repair process, we maintain effective communication with our customers, keeping you informed about the issue and the steps taken to resolve it. After the job is finished, the technician will verify that your appliance or electronic item is working to your satisfaction.
